To every mom who has gotten upset with their children for not behaving for a photo session… I get you.

Even though I’m a photographer, I barely have any professional photos of my kids. It’s like that old saying “the cobbler’s children have no shoes,” but it’s not exactly my fault.

My kiddos were not at all happy or cooperative for our family mini session, but when these photos from Amy E Photography landed in my inbox, I may have cried happy tears. Somehow, she managed to capture the sweet spirit of my children despite their best efforts to sabotage the entire thing.

TL; DR: Hire a professional photographer! 😉
