The Farm at High Shoals Engagement Session
Mollie and Josh’s engagement session took place at one of my favorite wedding venues: The Farm at High Shoals. Since I’ve developed a good relationship with the venue after shooting a few weddings there, they were gracious enough to let us use the sprawling grounds as the backdrop for this joy-filled couple! Georgia’s weather allows for shoots to continue later into the fall before the dead of winter sets in. You can’t even tell that these photos were taken in early November. Between the grass, the natural light, and the venue, it feels like everything was working together for this session to be perfect.
You know that I am a sucker for when couples include their pets in their sessions. While typically I’ve photographed dogs, Mollie and Josh brought their cat Oliver! His eyes were absolutely stunning! I think it’s very important to include everything that you find important in your engagement and wedding season. It is the ultimate culmination and celebration of the life you’ve begun to build together and should be documented. They are the precious memories that you can look back on for the rest of your life with gratitude and thankfulness.
Mollie and Josh will be getting married at the end of April at the Little River Farms in Alpharetta. Oakwood Lace & Co will be handling the planning and florals. After the other weddings we’ve worked together, I am excited to see what she produces next!
