Hadden Estate Engagement Session | Watkinsville, GA

Gracie and Luke are tying the knot in June of 2023. After reviewing this engagement photo session, I can’t wait to see how beautiful they look on their big day! Their upcoming wedding is going to be at the gorgeous Hadden Estate. We decided to head over to their stunning blueberry fields for some golden hour portraits and a venue sneak peak. My good friend over at Oakwood Lace & Co is the planner and florist for the wedding and I cannot wait to see what she has in store!

However, before we made it over to the main venue, we went to one of my favorite hidden gems in Athens: Lake Herrick. If you’ve never been there, it’s located on the University of Georgia’s intramural fields and complex. Between the dock and it’s gorgeous lake views and stunning lakeside paths, it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shoot engagement sessions.

If you know anything about me, I love when couples include their pets. Just check out Buck in last week’s post! Gracie and Luke brought their sweet pup, Kimber, who couldn’t resist diving into the lake. As a lake girl myself, it brought the biggest smile to my face!
