Alpharetta, GA Engagement Session
Hope and Daniel’s private residence engagement session in Alpharetta was a fun one! There’s something so beautiful and personal about being able to capture a couple in one of their most comfortable surroundings! In this case, we explored around Hope’s parents’ home and neighborhood in the absolute most gorgeous lighting.
I’m a sucker for a color palette that pops. The blue outfits look so vibrant against the greenery background. You can never go wrong with the classic blue and white. I also adore her floral dress standing out so brilliantly against the natural backdrop as well!
When choosing an engagement session location, have you considered a residence of you or a family or friend? Being in front of a camera takes a fair amount of relaxing and comfort, so having a venue that allows you to feel that extra peace is always a good thing! My job as a photographer is to help you feel at home with my presence so that I can capture the joy and personality of your biggest days.
Curious about other couples that have had a private residence session with me? Here’s one I shared recently. I’ve even done a few private residence weddings and elopements.
I will be heading to the St. Regis in Atlanta for Hope & Daniel’s wedding in just a few weeks! I can’t wait to share more of this lovely couple with you afterwards!
2024 Dates Are Booking Fast
For all my future brides who have been looking into my work, I did want to let you know that my 2024 dates are booking fast. I know that planning a wedding during our current economy can feel extra daunting. One thing to remember is that your photographs will be one of the longest lasting keepsakes from this day that you’ll ever have. Make sure that you connect with your chosen photographer’s portfolio. Go beyond their curated Instagram feed (follow me if you don’t) and check out their actual galleries and blogs. They are still curated, but will give you a broader scope of what they’re bringing to your table. If you see a photographer’s work that captures the magic you’re desiring for your day? Don’t settle for less.
But also don’t forget to consider how your personalities mesh, how they may interact with your bridal party and family, or your other vendors. Did they come recommended from your trusted wedding planner? Do they have good reviews from former brides and other clients? When you spoke to them, did they pay attention to the details and grasp your vision?
Of course, I do hope you’re considering me. Interested in getting your wedding onto my 2024 calendar? I’d love to chat with you, just click here to get started. Enjoy the collection of photos below!
