A Wedding in Milton, Georgia | Little River Farms

Teresa and Joshua’s wedding at Little River Farms was a day filled with infectious smiles and abundant love! Some wedding celebrations feel like I’m capturing moments of my own family. Maybe it just felt this way because I was obsessed with their little son Henry! Kids amplify wedding day joy in the most perfect, unique ways that only they can!

This was one of those weddings that proves a last minute change doesn’t have to derail your perfectly curated day. I always tell my brides to have back-up plans for rain. (And, despite the rain never appearing as forecasted, something tells me the guests didn’t mind being inside in August in Georgia.) Thankfully, Little River Farms has a fantastic indoor space with gorgeous lighting. We’ve spent quite a few wedding days at this wonderful venue and can’t speak highly enough of the team there.

Speaking of a high quality team, The Cottage Florals nailed the blue and white color scheme of the wedding. Florals are always the lynchpin of tying wedding decor together.

The vast majority of my wedding books include an engagement session. One thing that many couples ask me is “When is the perfect time to have an engagement session?” The answer from all of us at SFP is there is no right answer! With Teresa and Joshua, we’ll be doing a family session after the wedding after their little girl arrives! While most couples use their engagement session for wedding websites and save the dates/invites, if the timeline of booking your photographer is tight, don’t be afraid to ask for something unique!
