An Engagement Session in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park
I met up with Rachael and Mike for their engagement session in an Atlanta classic: Piedmont Park. Throughout my many years of working in the Atlanta region, I’ve gotten to experience this park on every day of the week, in every weather, in every season, and at every time of day. It always has something to offer between new locations to discover and some of my tried and true favorites.
This was one of those sessions that turned out perfect despite the hassle of getting it scheduled. When it comes to your wedding day, you have to take the weather as it comes. But I am firm believer that your engagement session should be exactly how you want to envision it. Weather forced us into rescheduling this session three times before we landed on this morning with gorgeous lighting. Definitely thankful for Rachael and Mike for being so understanding, but I think they love the end product! Good lighting is the fastest way to make or break a photograph.
I’m actually sharing this session after I have already photographed their wedding at Little River Farms back in August. That blog will be coming soon! It’s one of my favorite venues and I’ve spent a fair amount of time there this summer so I will be sharing a couple weddings there if it’s a venue you want to see more of.
2024 Is Filling Up
The summer wedding season is my busiest time of the year as you might expect. On the weekends when I’m not scurrying around weddings, I’m soaking up as much sun as possible with my husband, kids, family, and friends. All of that to say, my 2024 calendar is filling up fast so if you’re interested, I’d love to hear from you!
