Lake Herrick Engagement Session | Athens, GA

Morgan & Bo’s engagement session at Lake Herrick and the State Botanical Garden of Georgia is a time capsule of their time together. Neither of them are from Athens, but they wanted to memorialize their time in the Classic City while she’s been getting her graduate degree. When choosing locations around Athens, the botanical gardens are an obvious classic! But you know that I’m a sucker for a body of water and I’m so glad we went down to the lake. I am obsessed with the photos on the dock at Lake Herrick. Absolutely dreamy.

I am a long time believer that your engagement session should mirror something special about your relationship. I love that Morgan and Bo wanted to immortalize this time period in their lives. So many moments along the way feel transitive, but they are as equally transformative. Those moments should be celebrated as much as any other!

They are getting married in one of my dream destinations: Italy. I will sadly not be behind the camera! I am wishing them all the best in the endeavors and marriage!
