Meet Rachel! In the four years since I first introduced Rachel on the blog, she’s developed far beyond my righthand lady! You may have seen that now she’s booking her own weddings on top of the limited engagements she takes on for family sessions, maternity sessions (more babies, always!), and senior portraits.

As her older sister, I truly mean it when I say I trust Rachel more than any other photographer I’ve ever known! It’s so exciting to expand and scale my business alongside such a trustworthy and talented lady! She’s been by my side as a second photographer (and still often is) and doing behind-the-scenes business operations for over six years now. Working together and independently, we can now offer the same SFP service to more clients.

Our goal is to always provide the same experience for every couple:

1. Trustworthy and involved communication: we’re not going to book you and then not get to know you and your desires before the wedding day.
2. Organized and efficient: no one wants their wedding day to feel like it’s checking items off a to-do list. So for our photos that are a to-do list, we get them taken care of and get you back to the candid and lovely moments of your most special day.
3. Calming Presence: we’re not going to freak out on your wedding day.
4. Refined, consistent posing and editing style: whether I’m your lead or Rachel if your lead photographer, when you look at our client galleries, you’ll know what you’re getting.

These pillars have been in place since 2018 and Rachel has been training alongside side me since 2020. I’m so excited for the future of our work together! Believe me when I say that you can feel as confident booking Rachel as you would booking me.

Let’s Get to Know Rachel

On the way to capture your wedding, she’s probably eating Chick-Fil-A. And let’s be real, so am I. If we don’t have a wedding booked that day, she’s probably at the beach or traveling with friends and family. If there’s one thing about us as sisters, we love an adventure and a little retail therapy. It’s extra perfect when we can get both together. Her dream vacation is Bora Bora. If you want a destination wedding there, we’re your photographers for sure!

After a wedding, you’ll probably find her binging a few episodes of The Office or The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Rachel will be graduating with her degree in Agribusiness from Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College in just a few months. She was a competitive swimmer for twelve years and still teaches swim lessons in her free time. (Sometimes I wonder how she has any free time!)
