Leah and Jack’s private residence wedding was incredibly special. Their engagement session was in Madison, so I loved how they kept the outdoor theme throughout their wedding festivities. It was great getting to know Leah and Jack’s personalities through their engagement session, to then being able to understand how they envisioned their wedding day. Leah and Jack have the most easy going and fun personalities. It was important to them that their day felt like being at a fun party. I think you succeeded, Leah and Jack! Leah and Jack had a private moment before the ceremony where they read letters with their backs to one another. This moment was special and turned into their first look immediately after. Being able to share those private moments were so important.
The bridesmaids donned nude gowns, and the way the color looked against the groomsmen’s blue suits was beautiful. I loved how the bridesmaid’s dresses were the same color, but different styles to flatter each of their body types. It’s such a great trend happening right now! The cross backdrop at their ceremony was gorgeous, and I loved that they chose it to stand in front of to say their vows. During the ceremony, the sun set perfectly behind Leah and Jack as they recited their vows. Golden hour photos always get me, but these were unbelievable. The classic white florals mixed with greenery were eye-catching. Mixed with the gold details throughout the reception, the space was gorgeous. I really liked the wooded background that was in a majority of our photos. With it being March, you could tell spring was trying to peek through but wasn’t quite there yet.
