From Kickball to Marriage
McKenzie and Cameron’s Swan House wedding was absolutely magnificent. McKenzie and Cameron met on a work kickball team and became best friends before they started dating. I love how unique their love story is. It’s hard to believe we were just taking McKenzie and Cameron’s engagement photos! Here’s a look back on their engagement session. McKenzie and Cameron are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Their kindness really showed on their wedding day. I loved seeing McKenzie and Cameron’s interactions with their loved ones throughout the day. Being so close with their families, you can only image the many special moments during their day.
A Classic Wedding Affair
McKenzie and Cameron did not do a first look. That made McKenzie’s entrance that much more spectacular. One of my favorite shots was McKenzie walking down the stairs with her dad into the ceremony. It’s easy when couples do first looks, because we’re able to get photos out of the way instead of having to do them during cocktail hour. I really loved that McKenzie and Cameron didn’t do a first look. It made McKenzie’s entrance incredibly special. It was supposed to thunderstorm all day long, but the sun came out for pre-ceremony portraits and it didn’t start to sprinkle again until the rose petal exit.
Like most photographers, the Swan House is one of my favorite venues to work at. It’s stunning and everything you want in a venue. There are so many gorgeous spots to take photos. I was so honored to be able to capture McKenzie and Cameron’s special day! McKenzie and Cameron’s Swan House wedding was everything and more. Keep scrolling to see all of the details!
