I am so excited to share with you a revamped and refreshed wedding venue just outside Athens: The Garden! Formerly known as the Thompson House & Garden in Bogart, this venue is charming and full of character!

Molly and Matthew’s beautiful wedding at the UGA Chapel is half of this blog, but I am exceptionally excited to share their reception at Herty Field as well!

I loved exploring different parts of the University of Georgie with Ryan and Josh for their engagement session. The first time Ryan called me, I knew that she and I would have the best connection! When you can feel the chemistry from the first phone call, you know the pictures will be special.

Today, we are taking a quick glance at Susan and Greg’s intimate State Botanical Gardens of Georgia wedding! I love this venue more every time I visit. The flowers were showing off in the bright sunlight of spring!

For my first blog of the new year, we are diving into Ashley and Andrew’s wedding at 255 Milledge! I’ve spent so much time with them over the last year that this one feels exceptionally special. If you haven’t checked out their engagement session or their bury the bourbon session yet, definitely do so before checking out this one! I shared their rehearsal dinner last week as well. I’m simply in love with them.

You’ve already met Ashley and Andrew on my blog, but today we’re diving into their rehearsal dinner at 255 Milledge! I don’t get invited to many rehearsal dinners, but this one was full of charm and unique moments. I loved it!

Kaitlyn and Dillon’s engagement session at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia is today’s featured blog. This is one of my favorite free session locations in Athens! A well-manicured garden or park always provided elegant, natural backdrops that enhance any session together.

Brooke and Zach’s wedding at the Wildflower 301 is today’s blog offering! This couple was exceptionally kind and I loved every minute I spent around them this day. I know every photographer says their couples are beautiful inside and out, but we truly mean it! These two were so intentional in their decisions and design and it really coalesced into a stunning, elegant day.

Lauren and Harrison’s wedding let me return to one of my favorite venues in all of Georgia: The Farm at High Shoals just outside of Athens in Bishop, Georgia. Working alongside one of my favorite wedding planners, Lindsey Wise, the couple shared their vision for every little detail and Lindsey definitely delivered! As I moved around the stunning venue taking photographs, I was blown away by the level of intricacy and care in every aspect of the design. Every aspect of the day, from getting ready and portraits at the Villa to the ceremony in the vineyard and on into the cocktail hour and reception at the stables, made this wedding into the definition of a showstopper.

Yeni and Zach’s Hadden Estate wedding was so much fun! Hadden Estate is a new venue in Watkinsville and it has so much to offer. The venue is situated on a blueberry farm and the entire property is gorgeous. There are a few different options as to where to have the ceremony.

Leah and Jack’s private residence wedding was incredibly special. Their engagement session was in Madison, so I loved how they kept the outdoor theme throughout their wedding festivities. It was great getting to know Leah and Jack’s personalities through their engagement session, to then being able to understand how they envisioned their wedding day.

Emma and Brendan’s Athens engagement session was incredibly special. For starters, these two are middle school sweethearts! I photography high school and college sweethearts all the time, but middle school is so sweet and unique.

Hanging out with Leah and Jack in their hometown of Bostwick, Georgia for their engagement session was such a treat. These two are getting married on March 19th, so you could say I can’t wait to celebrate them so soon!

Anslyn + Brady were such a fun couple to get to know and a joy to work with throughout their engagement and wedding day. They’re the kind of people who you feel like you’ve known for years. Each moment of their Magnolia Oaks Farm Wedding day was intentional, personal and so sweet.

Haley and Brian’s The Farm at High Shoals wedding was a highly anticipated summer night! After being thrown quite a few curveballs due to COVID, this couple was ready to celebrate with their closest friends and family.

Earlier this year, Alexis Lunsford and I put together an editorial-like, stylized luxury Garden Party Wedding at the The Gardens outside Athens, GA!

Millie and Tyler… find a sweeter, more head-over-heels-in-love couple… I’ll wait. These two are precious and their wedding day was on a warm, sunny day in February.

I’m a sucker for a good proposal story. In fact, I always ask my couples at their consultation how they got engaged. So, imagine how much I love photographing proposals? Um… the limit does not exist!

Sam & Michael’s wedding at Grant Hill Farms on Halloween was such a fun day! They’re such a sweet and fun couple with the best friends and family. So many smiles and happy tears were shed and the dance party was epic! 

Haley and Brian really wanted pretty fall foliage for their engagement photos and Lake Herrick did not disappoint!! The walking trails and the lake were simply stunning! Then, we headed over to North Campus since they’re both UGA alums!

Joshua and Mary Trent both attend UGA and they got engaged on North Campus, so when we were planning for their engagement session, choosing North Campus as our location was a no brainer! These two are just precious and I cannot wait for their wedding in May 2021!
