Victoria and Joel’s wedding at The Hazelhurst House was a glowing day of classic Southern beauty. The location was a classic Georgia home with gorgeous columns and sprawling grounds perfect for portraits!

I am obsessed with the navy and baby blue color coordination across the bride, groom, and their attendants. Just like their palette choices for their engagement session, they nailed the color choices! With the bright spring greens and the crisp whites of the venue, it really created a uniform palette that popped. I especially loved the brick pattern and texture from the ceremony space and how it worked together with all of these details.

Fun With Film

One of the things that I got to do with Victoria and Joel’s wedding is take some Super 8 reel! Just like their engagement session, I love when my couples let me experiment with film! Part of what keeps the joy of photography alive for me is discovering new techniques and styles. I think this allows me to capture more and more unique photos for every one of my couples and to adapt to their styles and wishes.
