Allee and Luke’s engagement session at Winn Park and the Fox District was like reuniting with old friends! Allee is Ashley’s sister, so we’d already spent some very special time together. When Ashley reached out to me on behalf of Allee, I knew instantly I was going to do everything in my power to be available for her wedding date!

I really loved the way the fall colors complimented their outfits. The colors were warm and comfortable, just like this couple! That is definitely something every couple should keep in mind when choosing outfits and seasonal time frames for their engagement sessions.

We are heading into a streak of four straight blogs celebrating engagement sessions here at SFP. We are so excited about our Spring and Summer 2026 wedding line-up with all of these lovely brides and grooms! Spring is blooming around us and it feels like a good time for a soft reset for the blog and reminder of why things like engagement sessions are important for me as one of your vendors and you as clients with a vision.

You might have noticed that this session’s locations mirrors another recently shared on the blog. Allee and Luke weren’t entirely sure what they wanted the vibe of their engagement session to be. I sent them some sneak peak galleries to check out as options. In one way, that’s why I try so hard to share so much on my blog. I want people to see my product, but also to have ample ideas. We are all citizens of this great community and can help each other find new and interesting locations and facets of it!
