Country Club of Roswell Wedding | Roswell, GA

Kelly and David’s wedding at the Country Club of Roswell was my last wedding of 2023! I’ve been doing this for quite a few years now and I am still honored every single time a bride and groom choose me to capture the moments of their day. From the moment we meet for your engagement session, and here’s Kelly and David’s, you become a part of my story, too!

I love it even more when former clients are friends with my new clients! I met Kelly through her friend McKenzie, whose wedding venue has always been a favorite of mine … and not just because I love “The Hunger Games”! One of the coolest things about photographing weddings in the Atlanta and Athens area are all the venues that are also doubling as film locations. They just filmed an episode of “Stranger Things” in my home town, how cool is that? But I’m getting away from Kelly and David.

I loved working with their wedding planner, Dabney. She nailed every single detail perfectly for them. We’ll be working with her again later this year and I can’t see what she elevates for her clients then!

It’s A Love Story, Baby Just Say Yes

Kelly and David didn’t want to do a first look before their wedding. With this being a winter wedding with limited daylight, I knew that would be tricky so we made sure to have a detailed photo list nailed down before the day. This is so important to communicate with not only your photographer ahead of time, but the wedding party and your family who you want in your pictures as well. Everyone was so cooperative, it moved efficiently and we had plenty of time for those gorgeous wedding day portraits!

One detail about this wedding that I adored was that instead of doing a bouquet toss, Kelly presented her bouquet to her grandmother. My heart melted. It was just the sweetest thing in the world!
