Grant Hill Farms Wedding
Kayla and Brantley’s Grant Hill Farms Wedding was a perfectly charming fall wedding. I’d previously shot a wedding there in 2021, and I adore the blue barn and the lush green landscape around it. Being a fall wedding, Kayla’s focus on a rust color palette really drew everything together. I loved it!
Like a wedding I shared in February, it was a play it by ear day in regards to the weather. Clouds seemed to threaten rain all day, but thankfully it held off! For all the brides checking out my blog planning for an outdoor wedding, I wrote a primer about the importance of having a rain plan.
Trendsetting: A Private Last Dance
One thing that Kayla and Brantley did that I wish every one of my couples would do is they had a private last dance. The DJ and coordinator ushered everyone out to get them ready for the grand exit and then they slowly danced together, soaking in the last moment of the day they’d been planning for months.
Grant Hill Farms has a balcony, so I was able to sneak up there and get some shots down through the strings lights that capture how intimate of a moment it was for them.
