Midtown Atlanta Engagement Session in Piedmont Park
Naz and Jose’s engagement session in Piedmont Park was absolutely full of joy. The sun was shining, the midtown Atlanta skyline was stunning, and their sweetness just comes through every single picture. Piedmont Park is an iconic location in Atlanta, but I love how every couple seems to make it their own. The way the skyline turned out in these pictures is among some of my favorites from my many sessions that I’ve done here.
As a wedding photographer, I deal with a lot of people who are under stress. It’s part of the job and I think I’m pretty good at riding the waves of emotions. Naz and Jose are one of the most laid back, trusting couples I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Nothing will make your photographer feel better than trusting them to provide you with the service you’re seeking! This allows us to do what we’re best at: capturing your most special moments on your most sacred days.
We’re about eleven months out from their wedding at Flint Hill in May 2024. Weather permitting, they’re planning for the entire day to take place outside. Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception al fresco under that vast Georgia sky that we all love so much. Definitely crossing my fingers and saying a few prayers that they’ll get to have their dream wedding!
Something to consider…
One thing that I love is when a couple’s engagement session mirrors their wedding location. Whether that’s when a couple does their engagement session at their future wedding venue, such as Maggie and Ryan’s did here and here, or like what Naz and Jose are doing: out in the open air. When planning for weddings, a cohesive vision always brings the finest details together. Maybe it’s just my bias, but I think that starts with your engagement session.
Here are just a few of my favorites from this lovely session and I can’t wait to share even more favorites from their wedding next year!
