Sanford Stadium Proposal | Athens, GA

When you were born and raised around Athens and you’re invited to capture a surprise proposal inside Sanford Stadium, you obviously say yes! We are so excited that we got to capture this moment of Sammie and Braden’s story. We worked alongside Braden and his family to pull this off. Just look at Sammie’s joy! Obsessed.

One of the things that I always wish to accomplish when capturing moments like this is the story unfolding. That could be eight photos in a row that are nearly identical except the emotion blossoming over your faces. These candid moments often produce the best photos. These are the memories you carry the most immortalized. Every time we catch the first tear or the shocked eyes we know that we produced magic.

We have done so many engagement sessions around North Campus. Getting to take them to a few of our favorite spots just after felt like a sneak peek into the next phases of their lives. Which we also get to capture! Rachel is now booking her own weddings alongside seconding me and Sammie and Braden will be one of hers in 2026! Our great friend Danielle at Oakwood Lace and Co. will be planning their wedding at The Thompson House.
