St. Regis Wedding | Atlanta, GA

Hope and Daniel‘s wedding at the St. Regis Atlanta was full of firsts for the Sarah Folsom Photography team! This was our first wedding with a content creator on the team and it’s a service that I am so excited to now be offering our brides! It’s so fun to have near-instant content available for our brides and fellow vendors.

This was the first time I’d ever worked a half-Jewish, half-Catholic ceremony. The blending of traditions was a beautiful reminder of how when you’re marrying a person, you’re marrying their family, their community, and their traditions as well as blending them in with your own. I especially loved that the ceremony was tag-teamed by a priest and a rabbi together!

The St. Regis is an absolutely stunning hotel in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. The rooftop ceremony was absolutely gorgeous! The weather called for rain, but it ended up being sunny and super windy. One of my favorite things in photography is capturing movement, so the wind was practically a paid actor for how vibrant and alive it made the veil, and thus every picture, look.

I want to especially shout out two vendors: Andy Beach at Sejour Events and the band, The After Party Experience. Andy brought in trees for the ceremony and reception. Talk about incredible work. Both spaces felt full with the abundance of spring and new life. It was the perfect over-the-top detail for a wedding! And the band? Inspirational. I’ve seen a lot of bands play for a little bit, take long breaks, and then play just a little bit more. But the After Party Experience went non-stop for three hours across all genres from oldies to rap. It was an absolute party!

A new service that we’re offering at Sarah Folsom Photography is Content Creation. What is this? This is a third person on your photography team who is dedicated to snapping in the moment candids and video clips on their iPhone throughout the entirety of the day. Do you need a Get Ready With Me TikTok for your wedding day? We’ve got you covered. Want to share a video of your grandma dancing with your college roommate to Instagram while on your honeymoon? It’s happening. All Content Creation content is delivered within 48 hours of the wedding so that while you’re relaxing poolside and waiting for your portraits, the entire world can start to share in your joy.
