First off, WOW! Let’s talk about this recently styled shoot at the Thompson House & Gardens. Earlier this year, some wonderful vendor friends and I got together to create this beautiful day.

Covid threw this couple so many curveballs, but we were determined to take their bride and groom portraits in the gardens no matter what! Covid has done many things… but robbing the joy is not one of them! Many congratulations and much love to Andromeda and Jay!

Emma and Victor are such a sweet and fun couple to hang out with! When I first talked to Emma on the phone, I was blown away by how much we had in common–we definitely had a connection from the start and I’m so thrilled that I get to photograph their wedding.

Big windows mean lots of light and we all know how important light is for photography!! Having large windows that lets in light will make your photos look soft and natural, which will be more consistent with the rest of the portraits in your gallery! 

Sam & Michael’s wedding at Grant Hill Farms on Halloween was such a fun day! They’re such a sweet and fun couple with the best friends and family. So many smiles and happy tears were shed and the dance party was epic! 

Mercy and Justin got married on a beautiful November day at Heartwood Acres. The crazy part? Mercy hired me TEN days before her wedding! Her original photographer had a family emergency and I was so glad that I was able to fill in. I loved working with these two!

When I was planning my wedding 9 years ago, photos were the most important thing to me. I wanted to have a lot of photos and I wanted them to be taken during the very best light. I asked James if he would mind doing a first look.

I did a poll on my instagram stories a few weeks ago and asked brides “what has been the hardest thing about wedding planning (besides Covid, because that’s a given)?” And the overwhelming answer was: creating and sticking to a budget!
