The Duck Pond Engagement Session | Atlanta, GA

Kristen & Brooks had their engagement session at The Duck Pond in Atlanta! I have always wanted to photograph a session here, so I was quite excited for this one. The Duck Pond is right around the corner from Brooks’ house, so the couple has spent many hours here. It’s so beautiful, who could blame them?

One of my favorite natural aspects of this session was the way the light filtered through the trees. It brought a calm and peace to just north of the craziness of Midtown and Downtown Atlanta.

I am definitely looking forward to their wedding, but we’ve got a few months still to go. It’ll be in March of 2024! (This is your reminder to book your photographer as soon as possible if you are searching; we’re already booking our 2024 wedding seasons.) Their ceremony is going to be held at the impressive Cathedral of Christ the King. If you want a sneak peak of the venue, I recently posted a blog of a wedding I photographed there.
