The Manor Golf and Country Club Wedding | Alpharetta, GA

I couldn’t wait to share Jacqueline and Luke‘s wedding day any longer! They began and ended their day at The Manor Golf and Country Club, while having their wedding ceremony at the Birmingham United Methodist Church. Each venue complimented the vibe and planning perfectly!

You know that I always stress the importance of a rain plan, and Dabney of Dabney’s Designs executed hers flawlessly. Remnants of Hurricane Francine rolled in overnight and decided to become a major inconvenience. Dabney worked her magic and you’d never know it wasn’t Plan A. That’s the magic of an amazing wedding planner.

Don’t Miss The Details

There are so many elements of Jacqueline’s classic and elegant style that led to the perfect decor details. The floral arch into the church was gorgeous; the asymmetrical line created a feeling of whimsy that I was just obsessed with. This was just one of the many amazing pieces that the floral team pulled off!

I loved the ceremony petal toss exit out of the church! It was such a fun twist on the reception dinner exit. I think more of my bride and grooms should start to incorporate this into their wedding days! And then the bride and groom got into a classic car to drive to and enter their reception! I’m a huge fan of the photos we got to take in the daytime with the car. Usually the getaway car isn’t around until the very end, which can always lead to urgency or missed opportunities for a perfect portrait. And then they got to leave the reception in the same car they entered in! I loved how it was a full circle.

One other detail I’ll share with you before you get into the photos is that Alex Ahn performed alongside the DJ with his violin during certain songs. I loved how unique this approach was and it really opened up the dance floor beautifully!
