An Engagement Session in Alpharetta, GA
Jacqueline and Luke’s double location engagement session around Alpharetta proved that variety is a photographer’s dream! Not only did Jacqueline come forward with a particular set of ideas, she trusted in me to help bring them to life. She wanted their photos to possess a laid back quality that made the session looked “lived in.”
Our first stop was the Painted Horse Winery, which I’ve been to before. It’s an excellent location with so many different perfect backdrops that it’s easy to get carried away. And so maybe we did! I love that it feels like in these photos I managed to snag some beautiful moments that feel directly lifted from a lowkey weekend getaway. It matched the vibe perfectly!
For the second half of the session, we definitely switched it up while keeping it “Jacqueline and Luke.” As we moved through Alpharetta City Hall and around Alpharetta Square, with the attire shift, it felt like a glamorous date night in the city. A completely different vibe, but it still matched them perfectly.
A little surprise hint: they’re today’s blog post because I just finished capturing their wedding this weekend! Can’t wait for you to see those photos from The Manor Golf & Country Club; it was perfect! Dabney at Dabney’s Designs, who we love, went above and beyond (as always).
No matter the location or staging, these two made everything look effortless and joy-filled. I absolutely love these and I hope you do too!
