Surprise Proposal | Rachel Said Yes!

You know we love a surprise proposal at SFP. This one is the most special one we’ve had an opportunity to capture because this time it’s Rachel! She’s an icon, a star, a legend. Naturally, I was over the moon when Chase asked me to be a part of his proposal. We cannot be more happy for the two of them!

Rachel has been second camera or lead camera on over a hundred weddings. It’s finally her turn! When she looked over after Chase asked the question and saw me taking pictures, she squealed, “It’s my turn!” We’re already working on the romcom script: from the bridal photographer to the bride.

We’re obviously still very early in the planning stages, but all signs are trending towards a late fall wedding next year. We love when couples allow themselves to feel every step of the way and allow themselves time to make decisions. One thing’s for certain: I’ll be behind the camera and Danielle at Oakwood Lace and Co. is doing the planning and florals. You’ll learn more as we do! One thing’s for certain, no NDAs, underground load-ins, or blacked out SUVs will be involved.
