The Wildflower 301 Wedding | Greensboro, GA
Brooke and Zach’s wedding at the Wildflower 301 is today’s blog offering! This couple was exceptionally kind and I loved every minute I spent around them this day. I know every photographer says their couples are beautiful inside and out, but we truly mean it! These two were so intentional in their decisions and design and it really coalesced into a stunning, elegant day.
Something that I have not seen often is that Brooke and Zach did not have a wedding party. However, they still invited people who are special to them to be with them as they got ready for their day. Not having a bridal party really led to dramatic pictures at the ceremony site and I’m kind of obsessed. There’s something focused and eye-catching about the bride and groom being the only ones standing in front of their friends and family.
Zach and Brooke did not do a first look, but they did write each other a letter that they read before the ceremony. I love traditions like this because they preserve the moment of the groom seeing the bride for the first time to the actual ceremony. Call me a romantic, but I’m all in every single time for those shots. Especially when the groom starts to cry.
The Wildflower 301
This new venue, the Wildflower 301, is a few miles from Lake Oconee in Greensboro and I am officially obsessed. The grounds are stunning and filled with beautiful landscaping. And the outdoor ceremony location? It’s got a little bit of Lord of the Rings meets open-air cathedral. It’s beautiful and I can’t wait to shoot another wedding here!
March is quickly becoming one of my favorite months for weddings. The weather isn’t too hot or cold and the entire world is waking up from winter. Who doesn’t love blooming flowers everywhere? The colors throughout this gallery are stunning thanks to nature coming back to life.
The colors were made even better Brooke’s color scheme. I’ve noticed that brides are often afraid to venture into color palettes that center around yellow, coral, and orange, but these photos should convince you to bring them back into consideration! Brooke also included ranunculus throughout all of her floral arrangements. I have a huge soft spot for them and I think they added a stunning layer to the décor.
