Guardian Works Wedding | Atlanta, GA
Today we’re checking in on Sarah Grace and Conor‘s wedding at one of Atlanta’s newest and upcoming venues, Guardian Works! Something about the vibe of the team here at SFP lends to us attracting a lot of laid back and trusting couples. These two may have been the most chill couple yet! We love all of our brides and grooms and we love that you can trust us to deliver and bring a little peace to your wedding day.
I was excited to capture a wedding at Guardian Works because the mix of industrial and elegance is such a fun conceit. With massive windows everywhere and vaulted ceilings, it really creates some dramatic backdrops with impeccable lighting. While the outdoor spacing around the venue is somewhat lacking from a photographer’s perspective, the interior more than makes up for it. Just look at the numerous textures and settings in the photos below! I’m also quite the fan of their reception space!
Shout Out to the (Vendor) Squad
My fellow vendors really knocked Sarah Grace’s vision out of the park. Erica at Blush and Bashful Events truly goes above and beyond for her clients. Her eye for detail and design is nearly unmatched. I see a lot of vendors and love when I see them going above and beyond for their clients.
Jeff at JL Designs did something incredible with the floral work here. I think marrying florals to an industrial vibe would send me in a tailspin. But he found a way to create an intimate atmosphere using draping smillax everywhere. It took the cavernous space and drew it together in a focused work that really completed the vision. It was stunning work and needs to be celebrated! You know it’s good when the guests audibly gasp at the reception floral work upon entry.
After The After Party
The couple wanted to keep their party going after the reception–and with a dance floor like theirs, can you blame them? Two blocks down the street at Westside Motor Lounge they had a DJ, an open bar, and a cigar roller waiting for their guests. I’m so glad we made time in the timeline for me to go with them and capture the start of the party.
Congratulations to the newlyweds! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!
