Downtown Alpharetta Engagement Session

Kristi and Brandon’s engagement session returns me to one of my new favorite locations: downtown Alpharetta! Not only is it super easy to navigate, but it’s also extremely cute and walkable! It greatly enhances the experience of exploring behind the camera with my couples when you can safely explore.

We met up a few weeks before their private estate wedding. (You already know I’ll be sharing those photos soon. Spoiler: It was fantastic!) I loved getting to hear about their love story and their careers as we wandered around snapping this collection. Kristi is a pediatric nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta and Brandon is a pilot! They are an extremely fun couple and I think their joy shines through these photos.

I’ve had couples ask me why they should have an engagement session if they’re not planning to use the photos for their invitations or save the dates. Engagement photos are more than just a tool or a checklist item; they capture a special moment in a couple’s journey. These photos reflect the love and excitement leading up to the wedding, offering a keepsake of a significant life chapter. They also provide a chance for couples to bond with their photographer, easing any nerves before the big day. Beyond the wedding, engagement photos can be displayed in the couple’s home or shared with loved ones as a personal celebration of their relationship’s unique story. It’s an opportunity to document memories that will last a lifetime.
