Brooke and JT’s wedding at the Atlanta Athletic Club was full of surprises! I love when family members pull off surprises that deepen the meaning of the day. This family did such an amazing job!

You cannot beat the intimate and exuberant atmosphere of a rehearsal dinner. When you peel back the layer of formality and the anticipation of your closest friends and family is building? You can’t beat it! I love capturing rehearsal dinners.

Ashlyn and Matt’s engagement session in Madison, Georgia took place at a very special location to me: my backyard! I loved the way the light shone through the winter trees with the first hint of spring growth. Despite being a cold February day, the warmth of the sun and their love really glows.

Rachael and Mike’s wedding at Milton, Georgia’s Little River Farms was a classic, beautiful wedding. While so many of the details were stunning, the fantastic floral arrangements centering white flowers were truly breathtaking! In the luscious lighting, it almost felt like they were glowing. It was perfection.

Alyssa and Josh’s wedding at the Country Club of the South in John’s Creek, Georgia was full of tradition. There is nothing more important to me than honoring the traditions of the bride and groom when I capture a wedding. This stunning Jewish wedding was elegant and timeless!

Gracie and Luke’s wedding at the Hadden Estate had two of my favorite things: cowboy hats and a dog! There is something deeply nostalgic for the country life I grew up when I see cowboy hats and I love how they were incorporated into their wedding attire. Of course, any dog will always attempt to steal the show!

Caroline and Riley’s wedding at The Georgia Club was a wedding detailed to perfection! There’s something I love about a color scheme reminiscent of a coastal estate that Caroline’s choices absolutely nailed down. Between elegant white flowers and bountiful touches of blue, this was a timeless event!

Kelly and David’s wedding at the Country Club of Roswell was my last wedding of 2023! I’ve been doing this for quite a few years now and I am still honored every single time a bride and groom choose me to capture the moments of their day. From the moment we meet for your engagement session, you become a part of my story, too!

Hope and Daniel’s private residence engagement session in Alpharetta was a fun one! There’s something so beautiful and personal about being able to capture a couple in one of their most comfortable surroundings! In this case, we explored around Hope’s parents’ home and neighborhood in the absolute most gorgeous lighting.

Carlyn and Forde’s wedding at the Meadows at Mossy Creek was an outdoor stunner! After watching the forecast all week leading up to the wedding, we knew it could be a close call for their outdoor venue. However, the rain quit falling just in time and held off through the ceremony!

Carlyn and Forde’s enchanting engagement session at Forsyth Park in Savannah captures the glow of the couple and the sun perfectly. Their smiles seem to radiate out of every photograph! There’s something easy about capturing these moments when the couple are filled with this much joy.

Amanda-Ruth and Matthew’s wedding at the 2425 Warehouse in Monroe, GA kicks off three weeks with one absolutely lovely family on the blog! The word that comes to mind when I think of this wedding is “sweet.” The balance of love, connection, family, and joy culminated in an absolutely perfect day.

We headed out to Little River Farms for Kristen and Ryan’s engagement session because they’re also getting married there in March! I personally find doing the engagement session at the venue location to be exciting for the bride and groom and helpful for me. I love watching their faces as the excitement grows. “That’s where we’ll be getting married!” “Our reception will be over there.” The energy is infectious!

For my first blog of the new year, we are diving into Ashley and Andrew’s wedding at 255 Milledge! I’ve spent so much time with them over the last year that this one feels exceptionally special. The rich cultural traditions, the elegant detail work, and the pure joy of everyone involved makes it an incredibly special day. You don’t want to miss the ceiling floral install at the reception!

When Ashley and Andrew told me about how they wanted to partake in the bury the bourbon tradition, I just knew I had to be there to help them capture the moment. Throughout my many years of working in the Atlanta region, I’ve gotten to experience this park on every day of the week, in every weather, in every season, and at every time of day. It always has something to offer between new locations to discover and some of my tried and true favorites.

Photographing Mollie and Josh’s wedding at Little River Farms began around one of my favorite inquiry emails. Mollie reached out to me saying, “I love black and white photos. I also love candid photos. I’m always smiling and laughing and love to capture this in photos.” How could I say no?
