A frequent question I get from brides is: “Do I really need a second photographer for my wedding”? I wanted to have a dedicated blog post to share the importance, and hopefully convince you if I haven’t already.

Ashley and Jasen’s Wimbish House wedding was a classic affair. White was the color for their wedding; from the bridesmaids dresses to the flowers and the reception space, I absolutely adored this look! Ashley and Jasen were the sweetest couple to work with, and all around so much fun.

The Swan House is a venue that most wedding industry professionals have high on their bucket list, and I was lucky enough shoot an editorial here recently. Everything about The Swan House is swoon worthy. The architecture and the landscaping are a photographers dream!

Morgan and Gary’s Big Canoe Clubhouse at Lake Sconti wedding was so dreamy and unique. The pretty mountain views were the perfect backdrop for this special day. I loved how their planner and designer, Lindsey Wise Designs, pulled off the most gorgeous boho design.

Katie + Chas’s Summerour Studio Wedding was too dreamy for words! From the half-arch greenery at their ceremony to the anemones mixed throughout the bouquets and all the details in between, I couldn’t get over how gorgeous this day was!

Emma + Victor’s classic Piedmont Room Wedding was all things intentional and SO much fun. After shooting their engagement session earlier in the year and getting to know them on a more personal level, I couldn’t wait to be a part of their wedding!

Covid threw this couple so many curveballs, but we were determined to take their bride and groom portraits in the gardens no matter what! Covid has done many things… but robbing the joy is not one of them! Many congratulations and much love to Andromeda and Jay!

Emma and Victor are such a sweet and fun couple to hang out with! When I first talked to Emma on the phone, I was blown away by how much we had in common–we definitely had a connection from the start and I’m so thrilled that I get to photograph their wedding.

Big windows mean lots of light and we all know how important light is for photography!! Having large windows that lets in light will make your photos look soft and natural, which will be more consistent with the rest of the portraits in your gallery! 

Sam & Michael’s wedding at Grant Hill Farms on Halloween was such a fun day! They’re such a sweet and fun couple with the best friends and family. So many smiles and happy tears were shed and the dance party was epic!
