Brooke and JT’s wedding at the Atlanta Athletic Club was full of surprises! I love when family members pull off surprises that deepen the meaning of the day. This family did such an amazing job!

Ashlyn and Matt’s engagement session in Madison, Georgia took place at a very special location to me: my backyard! I loved the way the light shone through the winter trees with the first hint of spring growth. Despite being a cold February day, the warmth of the sun and their love really glows.

Rachael and Mike’s wedding at Milton, Georgia’s Little River Farms was a classic, beautiful wedding. While so many of the details were stunning, the fantastic floral arrangements centering white flowers were truly breathtaking! In the luscious lighting, it almost felt like they were glowing. It was perfection.

Alyssa and Josh’s wedding at the Country Club of the South in John’s Creek, Georgia was full of tradition. There is nothing more important to me than honoring the traditions of the bride and groom when I capture a wedding. This stunning Jewish wedding was elegant and timeless!

Gracie and Luke’s wedding at the Hadden Estate had two of my favorite things: cowboy hats and a dog! There is something deeply nostalgic for the country life I grew up when I see cowboy hats and I love how they were incorporated into their wedding attire. Of course, any dog will always attempt to steal the show!

Caroline and Riley’s wedding at The Georgia Club was a wedding detailed to perfection! There’s something I love about a color scheme reminiscent of a coastal estate that Caroline’s choices absolutely nailed down. Between elegant white flowers and bountiful touches of blue, this was a timeless event!

Kelly and David’s wedding at the Country Club of Roswell was my last wedding of 2023! I’ve been doing this for quite a few years now and I am still honored every single time a bride and groom choose me to capture the moments of their day. Carlyn and Forde’s wedding at the Meadows at Mossy Creek was an outdoor stunner! After watching the forecast all week leading up to the wedding, we knew it could be a close call for their outdoor venue. However, the rain quit falling just in time and held off through the ceremony!

Amanda-Ruth and Matthew’s wedding at the 2425 Warehouse in Monroe, GA kicks off three weeks with one absolutely lovely family on the blog! The word that comes to mind when I think of this wedding is “sweet.” The balance of love, connection, family, and joy culminated in an absolutely perfect day.

Last week I promised Grace and Austin’s wedding at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, and I try to keep all of my promises! I love when couples create a wedding day that is reflective of and unique to them. For Grace and Austin, that meant a brunch wedding! How fun is that?

Neeki and Matei’s jaw-dropping Persian wedding and reception at the InterContinental Buckhead is a day I look back on fondly. The rich cultural traditions, the elegant detail work, and the pure joy of everyone involved makes it an incredibly special day. You don’t want to miss the ceiling floral install at the reception!

Photographing Mollie and Josh’s wedding at Little River Farms began around one of my favorite inquiry emails. Mollie reached out to me saying, “I love black and white photos. I also love candid photos. I’m always smiling and laughing and love to capture this in photos.” How could I say no?

Audrey & Drake’s Covington elopement was a day bursting with laughter. I’m not sure I’ve ever had this much fun during a session. When joy is contagious and the laughing never stops, you just absolutely know the pictures are going to be good!

Kaitlyn and Dillon’s engagement session at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia is today’s featured blog. This is one of my favorite free session locations in Athens! A well-manicured garden or park always provided elegant, natural backdrops that enhance any session together.

Kristen & Brooks had their engagement session at The Duck Pond in Atlanta! I have always wanted to photograph a session here, so I was quite excited for this one. The Duck Pond is right around the corner from Brooks’ house, so the couple has spent many hours here. It’s so beautiful, who could blame them?

Brooke and Zach’s wedding at the Wildflower 301 is today’s blog offering! This couple was exceptionally kind and I loved every minute I spent around them this day. I know every photographer says their couples are beautiful inside and out, but we truly mean it! These two were so intentional in their decisions and design and it really coalesced into a stunning, elegant day.

Brooke & JT’s Avenue of the Oaks engagement session had the dreamiest lighting. Despite living in Atlanta, the couple decided they wanted to do a day-trip destination location for these pictures. Needless to say, as we drove from stormy Atlanta to the sun-washed coast, it felt like we made the right decision!

Caroline and I met up about six weeks out from her wedding for this session at their venue. While wedding days are genuinely important days, a lot of moments can get lost in the schedule and hectic nature of the day. Having this time set aside to capture Caroline’s beauty outside of the stress of the Big Day? I think the photos speak for themselves in how important this can be. She was stunning.

Kelsi and Sam’s engagement session in Piedmont Park sees me back in one of my favorite locations in Atlanta! This session took place during a busy evening with excellent weather, so we had to get creative!
