Neeki and Matei’s jaw-dropping Persian wedding and reception at the InterContinental Buckhead is a day I look back on fondly. The rich cultural traditions, the elegant detail work, and the pure joy of everyone involved makes it an incredibly special day. You don’t want to miss the ceiling floral install at the reception!

Photographing Mollie and Josh’s wedding at Little River Farms began around one of my favorite inquiry emails. Mollie reached out to me saying, “I love black and white photos. I also love candid photos. I’m always smiling and laughing and love to capture this in photos.” How could I say no?

Audrey & Drake’s Covington elopement was a day bursting with laughter. I’m not sure I’ve ever had this much fun during a session. When joy is contagious and the laughing never stops, you just absolutely know the pictures are going to be good!

Kaitlyn and Dillon’s engagement session at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia is today’s featured blog. This is one of my favorite free session locations in Athens! A well-manicured garden or park always provided elegant, natural backdrops that enhance any session together.

Kristen & Brooks had their engagement session at The Duck Pond in Atlanta! I have always wanted to photograph a session here, so I was quite excited for this one. The Duck Pond is right around the corner from Brooks’ house, so the couple has spent many hours here. It’s so beautiful, who could blame them?

Brooke and Zach’s wedding at the Wildflower 301 is today’s blog offering! This couple was exceptionally kind and I loved every minute I spent around them this day. I know every photographer says their couples are beautiful inside and out, but we truly mean it! These two were so intentional in their decisions and design and it really coalesced into a stunning, elegant day.

Brooke & JT’s Avenue of the Oaks engagement session had the dreamiest lighting. Despite living in Atlanta, the couple decided they wanted to do a day-trip destination location for these pictures. Needless to say, as we drove from stormy Atlanta to the sun-washed coast, it felt like we made the right decision!

Caroline and I met up about six weeks out from her wedding for this session at their venue. While wedding days are genuinely important days, a lot of moments can get lost in the schedule and hectic nature of the day. Having this time set aside to capture Caroline’s beauty outside of the stress of the Big Day? I think the photos speak for themselves in how important this can be. She was stunning.

Kelsi and Sam’s engagement session in Piedmont Park sees me back in one of my favorite locations in Atlanta! This session took place during a busy evening with excellent weather, so we had to get creative!

Caroline and Riley’s downtown Madison engagement session ended in one of the most magical moments I’ve ever captured. Don’t skip ahead to the end, but definitely stay and scroll until you see the final pictures.

Kayla and Brantley’s Grant Hill Farms Wedding was a perfectly charming fall wedding. I’d previously shot a wedding there in 2021, and I adore the blue barn and the lush green landscape around it. Being a fall wedding, Kayla’s focus on a rust color palette really drew everything together. I loved it!

Today I’m bringing you Alyssa and Josh’s Barrington Hall engagement session. This historic house is right in the heart of downtown Roswell. I love the pop of color that the teal shutters add to the photos. We wandered the gardens around the house, enjoying the beautiful fall weather and the late blooming flowers. I’ve shot a wedding at another historic house in Roswell, Ivy Hall, and I’m starting to love all these homes. Almost as much as I love my couples!

Maggie and Ryan’s Sandy Creek Barn Wedding on Lake Oconee was a sun-kissed stunner! I have spent many hours on the lake with my husband, kids, family, and friends and I loved being able to shoot a wedding on this important spot. With a stylish eye that perfectly blended classic and modern, I loved how Maggie’s vendors put her vision together.

Mollie and Josh’s engagement session took place at one of my favorite wedding venues: The Farm at High Shoals. Since I’ve developed a good relationship with the venue after shooting a few weddings there, they were gracious enough to let us use the sprawling grounds as the backdrop for this joy-filled couple!

Tess and Nick’s Piedmont Garden Tent Wedding is the highlight this week, just like I promised. Located in the heart of midtown Atlanta, Piedmont Park was full of people enjoying the immaculate weather. However, with the venue located on the edge of the park, it also felt like everyone was celebrating this beautiful couple!

Tess and Nick’s Roswell, Georgia engagement session is kicking off back to back weeks of highlighting this couple! That’s right, next week you’ll get to see highlights of their gorgeous Persian wedding at the Piedmont Garden Tent. The Ivy Hall Wedding of Emma and Brendan is extremely special because there are middle school sweethearts! High school and college sweethearts are very common amongst my clients, but this was a first for me.

Ashley and Andrew’s engagement session at Painted Horse Winery highlighted one of my favorite things about couples: when they’re thinking outside the box! Not only was it a unique location, it was stunning and extremely fun. If you and your significant other have a special restaurant or location, don’t be afraid to ask the business owners if you can stage a photoshoot there. Look how good it turned out for Ashley and Andrew!

Sidney and Taylor’s wedding at The Factory at Walton Mill brought together modern chic with an industrial setting. Simply put, it was a jaw dropper! They also had one of the best photobooks I’ve ever seen.

Yasmin and Efrain are one of the most precious couples I’ve had the privilege of working with to date! Even though it was the day all eyes were to be focused on them, they were extremely concerned that their guests had an excellent time and were well taken care of. Weather threatened this outdoor wedding all day long. However, you know you’ve got the right team of vendors and bridal party when everyone was all hands on deck if it began to rain.

I’m posting Maura and Max’s Piedmont Park engagement session today because we are less than a month away from their wedding! One thing to consider with engagement sessions, especially in popular locations in cities as large as Atlanta, is how crowded they will be at the time of the photoshoot. Maura, Max, and I hit The Beltline and Piedmont Park early in the morning to try and negate this issue.

Emily and Justin’s intimate Atlanta elopement was full of the same elegance you’d expect from a traditional wedding. Instead of paying for the big event, the couple decided to go to Italy for three weeks instead. Who can blame them there? I can’t! The cool part is that we still had a ton of fun with just the three of us anyway.

I immediately want to say yes to any chance that I have to photograph a wedding or engagement session in Savannah. As you can imagine, when Jess and Chris brought me on board to capture their day at The Mackey House, I couldn’t have been more excited. Although we didn’t meet in person prior to their wedding, we planned out their desired shots over the phone and via email to make sure we captured every single moment of their day.
