An Intimate Vineyard Wedding at the Hadden Estate | Watkinsville, GA

Ali and Nick’s intimate vineyard wedding came together in four weeks! Danielle at Oakwood Lace and Co. and the amazing team at the Hadden Estate took their vision and time table and absolutely delivered! You know I like to celebrate other vendors on this blog when they excel and today is no different.

The couple envisioned an intimate and elegant affair. Nick’s brother got married at this same venue years ago and the owners are friends. I love when couples get married in a place that is very special to them. And you know that I’ve captured so many weddings and engagements here over the years that it’s a special venue for me, too!

Instead of the usual location for a ceremony at Hadden Estate, Ali and Nick opted for the blueberry field. They also chose an outdoor reception instead of the barn. I love seeing a familiar place in a new light! I love how the umbrellas in both locations made both the ceremony and the reception feel like a garden party.

Ali and Nick were a joy to be around! Because of the stress of a wedding, it’s quite understandable that some couples become quite edgy on their wedding day. Not these two! They were sweet and kind; Ali’s laugh was infectious. It made everything feel so more peace-filled and joyful!
