I'm Sarah and I'm so happy you're here. This blog is full of past weddings, engagements and my best tips for photographers & brides!

Gracie and Luke’s wedding at the Hadden Estate had two of my favorite things: cowboy hats and a dog! There is something deeply nostalgic for the country life I grew up when I see cowboy hats and I love how they were incorporated into their wedding attire. Of course, any dog will always attempt to steal the show!

Caroline and Riley’s wedding at The Georgia Club was a wedding detailed to perfection! There’s something I love about a color scheme reminiscent of a coastal estate that Caroline’s choices absolutely nailed down. Between elegant white flowers and bountiful touches of blue, this was a timeless event!

For my first blog of the new year, we are diving into Ashley and Andrew’s wedding at 255 Milledge! I’ve spent so much time with them over the last year that this one feels exceptionally special. If you haven’t checked out their engagement session or their bury the bourbon session yet, definitely do so before checking out this one! I shared their rehearsal dinner last week as well. I’m simply in love with them.

When Ashley and Andrew told me about how they wanted to partake in the bury the bourbon tradition, I just knew I had to be there to help them capture the moment. I’ve loved getting to know these two during our engagement session. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is being invited into favorite traditions!

Marie and Aaron’s wedding at the Hadden Estate at Damn Good Dawg Farms was the perfect way to kick off my summer wedding season! Despite all the emotions and stress that accompany wedding days, the group around them were really fun and sweet. Not only did it make their day easier and more memorable, it helped me capture the moments along the way.

Brooke and Zach’s wedding at the Wildflower 301 is today’s blog offering! This couple was exceptionally kind and I loved every minute I spent around them this day. I know every photographer says their couples are beautiful inside and out, but we truly mean it! These two were so intentional in their decisions and design and it really coalesced into a stunning, elegant day.

Kayla and Brantley’s Grant Hill Farms Wedding was a perfectly charming fall wedding. I’d previously shot a wedding there in 2021, and I adore the blue barn and the lush green landscape around it. Being a fall wedding, Kayla’s focus on a rust color palette really drew everything together. I loved it!

Mollie and Josh’s engagement session took place at one of my favorite wedding venues: The Farm at High Shoals. Since I’ve developed a good relationship with the venue after shooting a few weddings there, they were gracious enough to let us use the sprawling grounds as the backdrop for this joy-filled couple!

Tess and Nick’s Roswell, Georgia engagement session is kicking off back to back weeks of highlighting this couple! That’s right, next week you’ll get to see highlights of their gorgeous Persian wedding at the Piedmont Garden Tent. But for now, check out these dreamy photos we took around their neighborhood and with their perfect dogs! You know I love when couples include their pups!

Gracie and Luke are tying the knot in June of 2023. After reviewing this engagement photo session, I can’t wait to see how beautiful they look on their big day! Their upcoming wedding is going to be at the gorgeous Hadden Estate. We decided to head over to their stunning blueberry fields for some golden hour portraits and a venue sneak peak.

Lauren and Harrison’s wedding let me return to one of my favorite venues in all of Georgia: The Farm at High Shoals just outside of Athens in Bishop, Georgia. Working alongside one of my favorite wedding planners, Lindsey Wise, the couple shared their vision for every little detail and Lindsey definitely delivered! As I moved around the stunning venue taking photographs, I was blown away by the level of intricacy and care in every aspect of the design. Every aspect of the day, from getting ready and portraits at the Villa to the ceremony in the vineyard and on into the cocktail hour and reception at the stables, made this wedding into the definition of a showstopper.

Amanda-Ruth and Matthew’s downtown Madison engagement session was so sweet. If you can’t tell from the photos, Amanda-Ruth and Matthew are so precious and kind. We started out in downtown Madison, which is so quaint and cute. Then, we headed to my house to use my field as our second spot. Amanda-Ruth really wanted photos in a field, so I knew the one at my house would be perfect. Clearly I’m biased.

Alice and Orlando’s White Laurel Estate wedding was filled with the sweetest moments. Starting with how they met, Alice and Orlando met at a dog park. Subsequently, in a true life 101 Dalmatians moment, their dogs Gracie and Brave became friends and Alice and Orlando’s love story began. It was only natural that Gracie and Brave were included in all aspects of the wedding.

Erin and John’s Perry Lane Hotel wedding was all things classic, sweet and elegant. While it rained off an on all day, Savannah is a city that looks lovely no matter what! Not to mention, Erin and John took the day in stride and didn’t let the rain ruin their special day. Some of my favorite photos were of Erin and John walking through the rain with the clear umbrella.

Miley and Jacob’s The Sixty-Two wedding was SO intentional. Jacob’s sister passed away when they were kids, so Miley found a special way to honor her. Miley had a photo printed of Brittany with her dress photoshopped to the color of the bridesmaid’s dresses. When Miley revealed this thoughtful gift, Jacob and his family were speechless. They had no clue Miley planned this.
