Taylor Grady House Wedding | Atlanta, GA
Charlotte and Conner‘s Christmas themed wedding at the Taylor Grady House rounds out our blog recaps from a crazy full 2025! Every year I am amazed and humbled by how many wonderful couples trust me on this most precious of days. Being able to close out 2025 with such a beautiful celebration really did send out the year on a terrific high note!
When it comes to having a December wedding, Christmas looms large. You can either ignore it or embrace it. Charlotte and Conner did the absolutely correct thing in embracing it. However, to embrace Christmas doesn’t mean to lose the elegance of a wedding. Far from it! Charlotte and her mother put together a designscape full of elements from the Belle Epoque and their Southern US roots, complimented by stunning Christmas garlands and pines.
This was a wedding about the details. Champagne entering the ceremony! Charlotte’s blue Manolo Blahniks? Eye-popping in the black and white theme of the bridal party. I am obsessed with these bridesmaids gowns. But it was also a wedding of beautiful emotion. For every beautiful tear there was an accompanying raucous laugh. It was a day full of vibrancy and life!
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
I, of course, got the head’s up that Santa would be attending the reception. But the infectious energy and joy of when “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and Santa appeared? It’s what you live for at events like this! He passed out Santa hats to all of the guests, including special ones for the bride and groom. It’s hard to top a reception with an Oyster Bar truck and an Espresso Martini truck, but Santa always wins! It was the perfect moment for our content creation coordination Olivia as she captured all of the happy chaos.
One fun thing that Charlotte did during the reception was disappear for a surprise haircut! Conner was worried when he couldn’t find her, but then totally surprised when she re-appeared. I love when couples surprise each other (with good surprises) on their wedding days. It keeps the fun and romance first and foremost between them.
Check out just a small smattering of my favorites of this festive, lovely day!
